The Knanayan tradition of the Syriac Oriental Orthodox Church is a community of Christians from Kerala, in south western India. Spread across Ireland, they meet monthly in our St. Mary’s Church Donnybrook at 11am under the leadership of Fr. Thomas Jacob. He can be contacted by email at thomasjacob03@yahoo.de. “Explorers” is an ecumenical group of people in the Sandymount area who enjoy exploring the Scriptures. Explorers come from all the Christian churches in the area; this season we are exploring The Letter to The Romans. There are eight evening gatherings, currently meeting in Christ Church Hall, Sandymount Green on Monday evenings from 7.30pm to 9pm.

We welome all new singers to join our choir in St. Matthew’s Church; we hope to welcome the children to sing at our monthly Family Service in St. Matthew’s Church.
We have also formed a relationship with the Sandymount Gospel Choir, and look forward to enjoying more of their distinctive style.

 

 

St. Matthew’s is a Church of Ireland, co-educational primary school operating in the parish of
Irishtown. The school is under the Patronage of the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Dublin and
operates under the guidelines of the Department of Education and Skills (D.E.S.). The school
is located off Cranfield Place in Sandymount.

volunteers trained under the Church’s “Safeguarding Trust” scheme.
